Hot Honey Garlic Sirloin Steak Bites

Sweet, savory, garlicky sirloin steak bites coated in a buttery hot honey glaze. Serve with roasted sweet potatoes or your favorite vegetables for an easy, high-protein dinner.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lb sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or butter for cooking
  • 1 tablespoon butter for the glaze
  • 3 tablespoons prepared hot honey use a sugar-free substitute if desired
  • 1 heaping tablespoon minced garlic

For Serving

  • roasted sweet potatoes optional
  • chopped parsley or green onions optional

Instructions
 

  • Pat the steak dry and cut it into evenly sized bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Heat the avocado oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Sear until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness.
  • Reduce the heat to low. Add the butter, hot honey, and minced garlic. Stir briefly until the butter melts and the garlic becomes fragrant.
  • Return the steak to the skillet and toss until every piece is coated in the glaze. Cook for another minute or two, until warmed through and glossy.
  • Serve immediately with roasted sweet potatoes or your preferred side.

Notes

For a low-carb meal, serve with non-starchy vegetables and a sugar-free hot honey. With sweet potatoes, this becomes a balanced higher-carb meal.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. Reheat gently.
